Aubrielle’s Vanity (March 21, 2021)

Nothing can fill your heart or lift your spirits like the amazing support of a community. Our little town of Linden is nothing short of amazing…you knew just when our girl could use a pick me up. To the Linden Pay it Forward Group…there are no words to thank you for that smile. Our little warrior has had a tough few days and the gift of this beautiful vanity filled with goodies to fill her days was absolutely PERFECT. She’s been going in and out of her room for hours today, sitting at it for a few minutes every time she goes in. Big brother Jacks was not to be forgotten and so grateful for his gift card and tickets. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Linden and the Pay it Forward group. This community is simply the best…shortly after the surprise porch delivery she said…”I love this…I’m so thankful for the Linden people” so are we sweet girl, so are we

Sharing Some Love at Symphony (February 2021)

A group of volunteers helped to share some love to the residents of Symphony of Linden. Over 125 handwritten Valentine cards were also dropped off and will be distributed to the residents on Valentine’s Day.
It was cold outside, but hanging out with my gnomies warmed the heart. A shout out to Cheryl who is an activity assistant at Symphony. She kept us organized and guided us to all the common areas where the clings were to be displayed. Another shout out to Kathy Lindowski for helping to coordinate her staff and our volunteers to make this happen.
Thank you to those who came out to help:

· Pauline McGinnis
· Tracy Smith

· Diane Alexander, member of the American Legion Auxiliary Linden
· Jesus Lozano, Commander of the American Legion Post Linden

Love Your Neighbor Tree
This event is completed. Thank you to everyone that helped set up the tree.

The Christmas Memorial Angel tree is being converted in a LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR tree. Our target goal for set-up is January 17, weather permitting. If the tree is covered in snow, we may have to wait a few days.
TRIBE members volunteer to write messages on the back side of the ornaments which are then displayed on the LOVE tree. You can sponsor an ornament for $3. There are 100 love messages displayed on the tree for community members to read while visiting the tree.

Seniors Valentine Cards & Window Clings

125 Valentine cards (12 designs) have been printed to gift to the residents at Symphony Assisted Living in Linden. There are hand-written messages on the back side of each card along with a Red Hersey Kiss attached to each card.
Symphony staff will deliver these to the residents on Valentine’s Day in an effort to remind them they are not forgotten as the COVID Pandemic continues to keep them in lock-down.

Sponsor a window for a senior in assisted living or an elementary classroom. The beauty of this is the window clings are double-sided and can be applied outside.
There are six different designs and each window packet sheet measures 11.42 X 14.37 inches. You are more than welcome to apply the window clings yourself, but if that is not possible, reach out to Linden Pay It Forward and we will see if a student in need of HONOR POINTS can do it for you.
We have 36 packets available for sponsorship through February 10, 2021. When sponsoring a window at the link below, indicate if the window clings are for seniors or an elementary classroom. If sponsoring a classroom, let us know the school and teacher’s name.
