Linden Pay it Forward sponsors many FREE events. Follow these links to view current and past events that we have achieved to promote and benefit our community.

HOLIDAY GNOME INVASION

If there is one event that stands out about our organization, it is the Holiday Gnomes; it is our signature trademark. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we couldn’t do it without Wendy, Chris and their team.

CHRISTMAS MISSION: HELP FIND RUDY

Rudy Reindeer ran away from the North Pole and Santa’s workshop.  Rudolph (Rudy’s grandpa) & Santa are beside themselves with worry.    Please be on the lookout for Rudy…more

LIGHTING OF THE P.J. DOBOS MEMORIAL ANGEL TREE

Every December we light the Angel Tree to remember our lost loved ones. Angels can be purchased for the tree and are part of a community fundraiser to help with events hosted during the holiday season.

FROSTY HOLIDAY PARADE

Our 2022 float made the front page of Tri-County Times News. Roman and Wanda returned this holiday season with a liter of baby gnomes. Seems they were busy since their marriage last year.

The babies arrived in a sleigh of strollers with Roman Roundtown holding the reins. The community looks forward to what Linden Pay it Forward and the Gnomes bring to the parade every year.

DESERT ANGELS PACKING PARTY FOR OUR TROOPS

Wonderful turnout for the packing party! We packed over 100 boxes! Thank you to all that donated items for our deployed military members! I’ll do my best to keep everyone updated on future packing parties!

LINDEN’S LADIES NIGHT OUT

Look for our team at Ladies Night Out from 5-8pm in the Masonic Lodge. Purchase a baby gnome, free popcorn and chances to win prizes.

HALLOWEEN MONSTER MOBILE

Our Monster Mobile took 3rd in the 2022 scarecrow display hosted by the City of Linden. Every year is something different. We are always seeking volunteers to help with this display.

ARGENTINE POLICE DEPT TRUNK OR TREAT

We had close to 600 kids. We can’t wait to showcase our Halloween theme for next year. Our famous Candy Chute is always a favorite with the kids.

PINWHEELS FOR PEACE

This is an annual event every September. We work with the students in our three elementary schools to promote and encourage peace within the world, but to also practice peace and kindness within our own community.

Linden Pay it Forward supplies the pinwheels for the students. Once assembled, each classroom does a hallway parade and place the pinwheels in a designated area on their school grounds.

The smiles on the faces of these kids tell you just how much they enjoyed the snow cones delivery to their classroom. Students who participated in the Whirlwind for Peace Day on September were presented with snow cones the following week.

Many thanks to the Linden parent volunteers, teachers and school administration for helping us make this happen for over 500 students. Flavors of the day were Blue Raspberry and Cotton Candy.

HOPE2 FOOD PANTRY IN ARGENTINE

It is amazing what can be accomplished when organizations work together for the greater cause of community. Hope2 Food Pantry, located at the Argentine Police Dept, was dedicated this morning by Pastor Paul Kolleck of Hope Lutheran Church.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 2022

This year we partnered with Argentine Police Department and offered snow cones and a ‘spin to win’ wheel for kids to win prizes. It was a great turn-out by the community to partner with our police and first responders for an afternoon of fun events.

SPLATTER PAINTING

We will be at the Linden River Roast on Saturday, July 23 in downtown Linden. Festivities begin at noon. Exact location to be determined, but it will be in the KID ZONE area.

Food, Fun and Fireworks! You won’t want to miss this community event. We are also seeking volunteers to help supervise the splatter painting.

LINDEN LITTLE LEAGUE SPONSORSHIP

It was a privilege to sponsor these awesome kids this summer. A big shout of thanks to the coaches that give of their time to make this happen.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

What a beautiful day for the Linden Memorial Day parade. Thanks to everyone who visited the Linden Pay it Forward display. It was good to chat with so many of our community members and see the smiles on the faces of little ones when gifting them with beads, a pinwheel, flag or tattoo.

A wonderful community event to honor our fallen soldiers.

LINDEN PAY IT FORWARD will have a canopy set up in front of the Wax Building where we will give out Memorial items in honor and recognition of those who have given their life while serving our country.

When taking a Memorial item from our display, consider a donation to the LPIF (Linden Pay it Forward) Memorial Fund in remembrance of our fallen soldiers. Funds collected benefit local vets and their family in times of need.

We hope to see you all at the parade and picnic that follows the Memorial Service at the cemetery. Thank you to Linden Child Development Center for their sponsorship.

EASTER ROCK PAINTING AT FENTON COMMUNITY CENTER

Another amazing, fun and FREE event by Linden Pay it Forward. Join us at the Fenton Community Center tomorrow, April 15 from 12-3pm inside the tent for rock painting.

Thanks to Farrnetwork.org and GodsLoveFoundation.org for including us in this awesome event. Easter egg hunt and a special visit from the Easter Bunny is on the agenda at 1pm.

BREAKFAST BAGS FOR OUR LOCAL TROOPS

Thanks to every teacher and student who participated in decorating 500 Breakfast Bags for the156 ESB battalion who will soon deploy troops out of Howell, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. This project was a big “thumbs-up” based on shared feedback from parents/teachers.

Thank you Hannah Ball from Tri-County for taking time to report this community effort sponsored by Linden Pay it Forward. The bags will be filled with breakfast goodies for each soldier the morning of their deployment. A student’s hand-written card will be included in each bag.

BEAUTY FROM ASHES ROCK PAINTING

Every three months, LPIF sponsors a Beauty for Ashes event at the Empowerment Center where a community of loving and compassionate individuals are dedicated to the outreach, awareness, as well as the prevention of sex trafficking and those being sexually exploited. Our organization partners with the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department in supporting this organization.
